How long does it take to set up a new account?
Once payment is received, new hosting accounts are set up usually within 2 hours or less.
Do you maintain backups of my data?
It is the hosting clients responsibility to maintain backup copies of their website pages. New Hampshire Internet Solutions only maintains a backup of the server system.
Do you allow adult sites?
New Hampshire Internet Solutions does not allow adult sites on its servers. In addition, pornography, nudity and sex-related merchandising is prohibited. This includes sites that may infer sexual content, or link to adult content elsewhere. Any violation will result in immediate account deactivation.
What is your spam and bulk e-mail policy?
We have strict policies against spamming and bulk e-mail. Users who spam via e-mail, newsgroups, etc. are not allowed on our Web servers. Any violation (complaints of spamming and bulk e-mail) will result in immediate account deactivation.
What form of payment do you accept?
New Hampshire Internet Solutions accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Checks and PayPal.
Will you help me transfer my site from another host?
Yes. We can help you move your website files to our servers. Contact us and we will make all of the arrangements.
Can I access my mail through a web browser?
Yes. Once your hosting and your email accounts are set up, you can access your email remotely by simply typing in http://webmail.yourdomain.com (replace yourdomain with actual domain name) You will simply need your email address and the password.
Will I have unlimited access to update my pages?
You have unlimited access via FTP and Telnet 24-hours a day. As such, you can create and maintain your web pages on your own computer and upload files to your web site at your leisure.
How do I set up my included email POP accounts?
Contact Support. Our email account will be setup within hours for free. This is all included in your managed web hosting account.
Does registering a domain name include a website?
No - Registering a domain name is a completely separate process from ordering hosting. When you register a domain name, you are only having that name placed under your control for the registration period.
In order to have a website and email associated with the domain name you need to order a web hosting package or make arrangements to have it redirected/parked to another hosted site.
Can I have another domain name pointed to my site?
Yes. Parking a domain and pointing it to your main site, is a common practice. Contact support for setup. Additional fees apply.
